How to stay safe on Hallow’s Eve

Halloween is the night when the veil between the world of the living and the realm of the dead is thinned, as Samhain superstitions foretold. From kids to young adults to adults alike, come out on this night to “trick or treat”. Through the fun there are still dangers that need to be taken into caution.

For little kids being with an adult or someone older is required especially when walking through neighborhoods, as well as being cautious of the houses they walk up to. Candy checks are a must. Costumes need to be viable in the dark, passing cars need to be able to detect anyone wearing a costume.

Young adults need to be cautious of any Halloween “parties” they attend. Bring a group of friends keep an eye on one another for both male and female groups, having at least one designated friend is always a “go to”. For anyone who decides to “trick” instead of “treat”, keeping safe and not making regrets is the key. Keep your heathen tricks clean and within the lines of the law, in doing otherwise will get someone or yourself hurt. Clowns are a big deal this year and there may be a fluctuation of them around on hallows eve night, so stay clear of any sketchy clowns. It is always better to be safe than sorry.
