Band-
The band is preparing for their upcoming contests, which includes the Oct. 5 High Plains Marching Contest and the Oct. 12 UIL Region marching contest. Both contests will be at Dick Bivins Stadium in Amarillo. If the band places high enough in the Region competition, they will continue on to the Oct. 26 UIL Area contest in Lubbock.
Choir-
Choir has their District Auditions Sept. 28 at Tascosa High School. For those who advance from district, the region audition is Nov. 2 at Caprock High School. They also have a fall concert this year. The concert will be Oct. 7 at 7:00 PM in the Randall Auditorium.
Theater-
The theater department is preparing for their musical review, “What’s Love Got to do With it,” that they will perform Nov. 1- 2. They are also preparing for their fall show, “The Good Doctor,” which they will perform Nov. 21-23.
