In this week’s sports news, the Randall High varsity football team defeated Coronado High school last Thursday 28-23 which now makes them 3-1 in the non district season, unfortunately the boys do not have a game this week but will come back on October 2nd to take on the undefeated Tascosa Rebels, and the following week will be the first district game. The varsity Lady Raider volleyball team also brought a home a win this Tuesday. The girls traveled to Lubbock to play against Monterey, the girls remain undefeated and have their first district game this Saturday in Hereford. The Randall High tennis team also brought home a huge win for the team when they defeated their biggest rival, Canyon High in their matches this past Tuesday, they won 16-3. The Randall High tennis team remains undefeated as well, and are now 17-0 overall and 5-0 in district. The Lady Raider cross country team ran this past Saturday and placed first out of 19 teams, the boys placed ninth and they both will compete again on September 26th
