The girls’ varsity cross country took first place at the Borger Invitational Aug. 30 outscoring the second place team by 37 points. The second place team just so happened to be the Randall JV team who decided to compete in a varsity tournament. Tascosa was the next closest team to the Raiders scoring close to 50 points less than the Randall Varsity team. Senior Erika DeWitt placed 1st individually with a time of 19.02 for a 5k. Sophomore Karyss Betzen  placed 3rd.

The team will compete again this Saturday at Thompson Park.
