Google Fiber arrives in Austin

Google Fiber is currently rebuilding Austin, Texas’ infrastructure in order to install their new high speed internet service, fiber optic cabling. Fiber optic cables provide the fastest internet known to man. It’s internet speed exceeds expectations at a gigabyte per second which is 10 times the current average speed of 10 megabytes per second. Google has also already rebuilt and installed cables in Kansas City and are planning on doing the same to Provo, Utah. Traditional internet speed is still an option, but Google Fiber is offering free internet service every month for anyone who pays the 300 dollar cabling fee.
