    Disrespecting the law

I personally have never been in trouble with the law, but if I did have a run-in I certainly become the biggest suck-up possible. Apparently this girl didn’t feel that way.

In this video posted by Shoesh McGoesh on Feb. 4, a young girl by the name of Penelope Soto from Miami, who was charged with the possession of Xanax, received her first court hearing. Soto walks in very giggly and answers all of the questions without resistance, but has an attitude and the judge tells her she is not at a club. The judge rightfully asks Soto if she is on drugs, to which Soto laughs and acts like the whole thing is a joke. Soto denies being on drugs, and when she is dismissed, she replies with a lighthearted “adios” which causes the judge to call her back. Now with an angry look, Soto stands arms-crossed in front of the judge as he raised her bond from the original $5,000 to $10,000. Obviously shocked and enraged, Soto stomps off while saying “f*** you” to the judge and flipping him the bird. Once again the judge calls her back, and with a smile on his face he gives her 30 days in jail for contempt of court.

This video is actually pretty funny because of the judge, and Soto’s attitude toward the whole thing. Has she lost her marbles? I mean yes, she was probably hyped up on drugs at the time, but who has the audacity to disrespect a judge like that? This video shows how a person’s stupidity isn’t cute, nor will it help when he or she is in a situation like this.
