The Woman in Black, not so scary

The Woman in Black premiered in theaters February 3, 2012 and provided audience’s with a decent paranormal-thriller film. The story focuses on a man named Arthur Kipps, played by Daniel Radcliffe, who is sent to a remote village in order to sift through a recently demised woman’s paperwork in search of her will. But during his stay, he comes face to face with the vengeful ghost of the home and discovers why the townspeople are so eager to have him leave. The main flaw of The Woman in Black is its disappointing ending. The entire film strings the audience along an on-edge and intense story line, only to end with a mediocre twist that shatters all of the scary aspects of the movie. If there had been a different conclusion that kept the suspense rolling, the film would have been much better.
