Science Fair to be Held Next Week

Mr. Matthews and Mr. West will host a science fair showcasing AP Chemistry and AP Physics students’ projects in the west commons from 1:15 to 5:00 p.m. May 21. Teachers are welcome to bring their classes to the fair to see the projects. Students will be judged by professors from WTAMU, engineers from Pantex and chemists from the City of Amarillo water purification lab. The grand prize is a $250 dollar scholarship. Matthews and West encourage classes and students to see the science fair.

They also need volunteers to help set up from 12:45-1:15 p.m. and for clean up around 5:00 p.m.
