The varsity volleyball team is headed to state as they knocked out Birdville at the Regional Finals this past weekend in Lubbock.

The Lady Raiders started off strong winning set one with a score of 25-12,  and by the end of set three Birdville took a lead of 2-1. The girls came back with a strong finish and won set four with a close score of 25-23 and set five with a score of 15-9.

They are state bound and will be traveling to Garland, TX to compete against Kingwood Park for the State Semifinals on Friday at the Curtis Culwell Center at 3 p.m.; if they win they will play for the State Championship on Saturday at 3 p.m.
