Two Members on Girl Track Team Advance to State
Katy Bush on Left, Ariyah Gomez on Right
The girls track team competed at Regionals, in Lubbock at the Lowery Field and freshman Ariyah Gomez and sophomore Katy Bush placed.
Gomez placed first in the 3200 meter run with a time of 11:20.6 and Bush went to state for pole vault.
State was on May 10 in Austin and Gomez ran her second fastest time and placed 7th in the 3200 meter run.
