Big Hero 6
Over the years Walt Disney Studios and Pixar Animation have worked together to make many timeless classics and their latest endeavor is no different. Big Hero 6 focuses on the story of a fourteen-year-old robotic genius named Hiro, living in the future city of San Fransokyo with his aunt and older brother Tadashi.
Hiro, after graduating high school, gets involved in illegal bot fights. Tadashi, concerned for Hiro’s future, persuades him to apply to his college after taking him to his robotics lab. Hiro is convinced after meeting Baymax, a medical robot created by Tadashi that helps people in need. In order to be admitted into the university, Hiro must present a unique invention at the robotics exposition. With the help of Tadashi and his friends, Hiro builds a small army of “microbots” controlled by the user’s thoughts. The presentation is successful, but a mysterious fire breaks out, killing Tadashi in the process.
After the death of his brother, Hiro is discouraged, and spends most of his time alone. One day Hiro discovers Baymax in his brother’s room and quickly becomes friends with this marshmallow-like robot. From here Hiro, with Baymax’s help, regains his purpose and passion for robotics. Soon after Hiro finds Baymax, he finds one of his microbots that survived the fire and it is moving, as if it is attracted to other microbots. Curious, Baymax leads Hiro on an adventure to find the other microbots, and in the process they discover a mysterious man in a kabuki mask that has been making thousands microbots in an abandoned warehouse. This starts a journey in which Hiro strives to know who this mystery man is, and if he is responsible for the fire that killed Tadashi.
