‘Christopher Robin’ Brings Childhood Story to the Big Screen
The producer of “The Jungle Book”, “Tomorrowland” and “Million Dollar Arm,” brings back the children’s favorite “Christopher Robin” in a new HD movie.
Produced by Brigham Taylor and Kristin Burr, “Christopher Robin,” features actors Ewan McGregor, Hayley Atwell, Brad Garrett and Peter Capaldi in a story where Christopher Robin is grown and now has a family. Christopher and his family live in London where he gets an unexpected visit from Winnie-the-Pooh, his childhood pal. In an effort to locate the rest of the Pooh clan, Pooh and Christopher venture on a journey that helps Christopher remember the true joy of life.
“Christopher Robin” was released Aug. 3, is rated PG and has a 1 hour 43 minute run-time. The story about life, happiness and friends is an enjoyable reminder about what is important in life.
Spencer Maddox is a senior, and this is his second year on the newspaper staff. Maddox said he wanted to be on newspaper staff because it sounded fun.
