Keith Urban’s ‘Coming Home’ Tops Charts
New Zealand born singer and songwriter Keith Urban has a song that will remind you of the place you call home. Urban has released many great songs such as “Blue Ain’t Your Color” and “The Fighter” with Carrie Underwood, and “Coming Home” is no exception. It was released April 28 and peaked No. 37 on the Billboard charts.
In the song, Urban teams up with American singer, Julia Micheals, who is best known for her song, “Issues” released back in 2017. The song is No. 1 on his most recent album, Graffiti U. According to Urban, the song is a bit personal. When he came to Nashville 26 years ago, he felt that he was finally living his dream, but he soon felt homesick and missed it. He wanted to be around the people that knew him the best.
To me, the song has an amazing message for everyone to hear; it talks about how it’s okay to chase your dreams and also want to be the ones you love and miss. It has a catchy beat and a good melody for everyone to hear and the lyrics can get stuck in your head easily. I feel like it will be a classic everyone will remember.
