On March 10, “Scream VI” will release in movie theaters and excitement for the movie is out of the roof!

The first trailer for Scream VI released Dec. 14 and some fans were surprised not to see Neve Campbell, who has played the part of Sidney in the past. In an interview sent to Deadline, Neve said she turned down the role in the next sequel because Paramount/Spyglass Media’s offer “did not equate to the value she brought to the franchise.”

With Neve out, the cast for Scream VI will include Melissa Barrera, Jenna Ortega, Courtney Cox, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Mason Gooding, Hayden Panettiere, Devyn Nekoda, Josh Segarra, Jack Champion, Liana Liberato, Tony Revolori, Samara Weaving, Dermot Mulroney and Henry Czerny.

The directors and cast are describing Scream VI as much more gory than the other previous Screams. Cast member Courtney Cox, who plays Gale, said “I was excited, I was scared. Even if I know every single person and what’s gonna happen and why and when, I won’t look. It’s so realistic.”
