The UIL One Act Play cast will be performing The Old Boy for competition beginning on March 22nd at Amarillo College for Zone at 2 p.m. Public performances will be held on March 8th at 8 p.m. and on the 19th at 9 p.m. in the Randall High School auditorium. Admission is free, but the recommended age is set at 13 due to mature subject matter.
The story centers around a politician named Sam and the self discovery he goes through upon returning to his alma mater high school to give the ceremonial graduation speech. The story is filled with twists and turns as Sam regresses into the past and continuously relives significant moments from his teen years spent with his best friend Perry.
