The game club meets every Thursday in Steve Matthew’s room, 405 West, right after school until 5:30 p.m. to play “Magic.”

“Magic” is a game takes place in the plane of Shandalar, where the player must travel the land and fight enemies to gain cards, and defeat five wizards representing the five colors. The player must prevent one color from gaining too much power, and defeat the planeswalker Arzakon, who has a deck of all five colors.

“We invite any and all who want to either play, or learn how to play ’Magic’. It’s not the easiest game to learn, but once someone gets the basics down, it’s fast and fun,” Matthews said. “There are about six or eight of us that play each time. More players are welcome.”
