This weekend Randall competed at the Tall Cotton District speech tournament. Chris Jackson placed 5th in LD Debate, 3rd in International Extemp, and 2nd in the Senate for Student Congress which qualifies him for the National Debate Association National Speech Tournament. He will be headed to Dallas in June to compete in Congress. Chris also won the Tall Cotton District Student of the Year award. He won this award over all of the students in the district, which extends from the Panhandle down to San Angelo. Chris will now be entered into the National Student of the Year contest.
