It’s that time of year again. April turns into May and suddenly you wonder where all the time has gone! With all of the end of year events like banquets and awards, it can be hard to keep it everything straight. To help out, here are some important dates to mark down on your calendar or phone.

Coming up this week is the Superintendent’s Top Ten Banquet. This event will take place on May 8 at 7:00 p.m. This banquet gives the top ten students in each grade level a chance to celebrate their hard work and accomplishments.

The following week, the awards assembly will take place on May 15 at 7:00 p.m. Senior scholarship night will also take place that day from 5:30 to 6:30 pm. Superintendent’s scholar awards will be given out as well as individual awards. Students are expected to arrive promptly and dress nicely.

Awards are a way for students and their families to celebrate their achievements and reflect on the school year, and it is important that we take the time to recognize the hard work of students.
