Broadcast Team Competes in BBB Video Contest

The broadcast team’s video titled, “A Childish Mistake,” was created by Tanner Bass, Trenton George and Zyna Abujuma.

The broadcast team is competing in the Better Business Bureau’s (BBB) video contest about scams.  The Randall team’s video, titled “A Childish Mistake,” is produced by Tanner Bass, Trenton George and Zyna Abujuma and is about online scams. The team needs votes for a chance to win $2000 worth of video equipment for Randall, prizes for each team member, and for their video to air in BBB’s Amarillo marketing campaign.

Randall’s 53 second video is about a young man who falls for the Nigerian Prince Scam while his little brother is learning about scams in school.

For the contest, teams have four weeks to create, post and market their videos. The five team’s who have the most votes at the end of the contest period, will present in front of a panel of judges.

The Amarillo BBB is a non-profit organization which serves the 26 counties of the Texas Panhandle. Their mission is to promote trust in the marketplace. The BBB Video Contest, raises awareness among high school students about BBB’s free services to the public.
