Sophomore Alex Pinter enjoys the unique challenge of being in Cross Country.

“Not many people can run that far of a distance and it makes me excited to say that I can run that far,” Pinter said.

Pinter hasn’t always been a long distance runner. In fact, she didn’t start doing it until this past summer.

“After I started running, one of my friends asked me if I would try out for the team,” Pinter said. “I joined for the exercise, but I like to run because it helps with my health.”
