When: Friday, October 28, 7:30 p.m.
Where: Peoples’ Bank Stadium – Wolfforth, TX
The Raiders will square off with the Frenship Tigers tonight with a chance at winning a district championship hanging in the balance.
Both teams are 8-0 coming into the game. The team who finishes victorious will end the season with nothing less than a co-championship in district 3-4A. This is a game that has been anticipated all season by Randall players, as Frenship is ranked among the top 20 teams in the state and has beaten every team it has played by a margin of at least 20 points.
The Raiders will look to continue to capitalize on Coach Bryan Wood’s ball-control oriented offense, which has netted the Raiders over 2,000 rushing yards this season. The Tigers will also attempt to pound the ground game led by running back Bobby Huey, who has compiled over 1,300 rushing yards in eight games. Both teams also have similar defenses, as the Raiders allow an average of 257 yards per game, while the Tigers allow an average of 247.
