The Raiders moved on to area after beating Little Elm 35-21 Friday Night
Little Elm struck first on a 54-yard touchdown run by quarterback Devonte Pullham, but the Raiders answered on the ensuing drive, scoring on a 1-yard run by JD Allen. The teams then traded touchdowns in both the second and third quarters, leaving the game tied 21-21 going into the fourth quarter. After injuring Pullham, the Little Elm offense stalled and the Raiders ran away with the game on a 36-yard run by wide receiver Logan Brittain and a 33—yard run from sophomore running back Kaleb Barber.
The Raiders relied on the rushing efforts of Brittain, who had five carries for 91 yards and three touchdowns on end-around plays, to lead the offensive attack. Quarterback Austin Castillo also proved his efficiency, completing 7-8 passes for 104 yards. Barber finished with 63 yards while junior Tyler Junell carried the load with 111 on 18 carries.
The Raiders play El Paso Riverside 4 p.m. Saturday at Ratliff Stadium in Odessa.
