14 football players received honors as part of the 3-4A all-district team this week.
Junior Collin Bowen was named the district’s offensive MVP, as his 1,042 passing yards and 1,060 rushing yards dominated opposing defenses as he ran the helm of the Raiders offense for most of the season. Senior JD Allen also split the defensive MVP award with Frenship’s Stephen Smith. This marked the second consecutive season Allen won the award, as he again racked up over 150 tackles as the leader of the Raiders aggressive defense. Eight other players were named first team all-district, and five were named second team all-district, including Logan Brittain, who was selected to the first team for defense and the second team for offense.
