The Raiders recorded a victory over the Lubbock Cooper Pirates Friday night. Senior Wyatt Garton seemed to be nearly impossible to stop, rushing 31 times for 289 yards to score 4 touchdowns. The other touchdown was a 78 yard pass from senior Brett Taff to junior Austin Parr. The final score was 35-28 making the Raiders 2-0.

Varsity will play again this Thursday in Lubbock against Lubbock Monterey.
