This weekend, the boys wrestling team competed at the regional meet at the fairgrounds. Everyone on the team will advance to state, and the team left the meet with three regional champions, one second place, and one third place qualifier. The regional champions include Xavier Torres, Christian McBroom and Jayton Bennett with runner up Bray Freeman and third place qualifier Bailer Thomason. The team will travel to Austin next weekend to compete in the state meet.
