Cross Country Places at State
Victory swept in for the girls´ and boys´ cross country teams as they placed in the State meet last Saturday in Round Rock. The girls´ cross country team placed 2nd at the meet with an average time of 19 minutes 3 seconds. Liberty High School placed first, averaging 18 minutes and 53 seconds.
Randall sophomore Robyn Hague broke her foot around the 1-mile mark, continued the race and finished with a time of 20 minutes 38 seconds.
The boys´ team placed 11th, with an average time of 16 minutes 45 seconds. First place winners, Lovejoy High School, averaged a time of 16 minutes 1 second.
