The tennis spring season has started. Spring tennis lets individual players win and advance on their own, compared to team tennis in the fall. Last spring Randall had 8 qualifiers for the state Tournament.
Our Randall team has been practicing every day for the season.
“A normal practice normally is 3 hours with a 20-minute break in the middle,” sophomore Keaton Daniels said in an email.
The Randall team is very close and helps each other grow and get better so they can continue to do great things.
“I love being on the varsity tennis team,” junior Emmalee Sillivent said in an email. “The [team] environment feels like another family and everyone is willing to put out the same effort and try our best.”
The players are prepared to put in the work and are excited to see how far they can advance this season.
“We’re ready to work as hard as we can this year to go as far as each of us can,” sophomore Jazzy Phillips in an email. “We want to work super hard, not only for us but for the people around us.”
Randall was the 2022 Team Tennis State Champion and 2023 Team Tennis State Qualifier.
