Addyson Reimer, Sophomore

40 sets of eyes glance down on sophomore Addyson Reimer as she swiftly writes notes about Key Club during their weekly meetings. To Reimer, Key Club is about helping people, leadership, and brightening up other people’s days. Reimer is a Recording Secretary for Randall Key Club’s Board.

Reimer started her Key Club journey freshman year becoming a representative, and is now playing the role as a secretary for the club.

“Interacting with different types of people has always been one of my favorite things,” Reimer said. “I love having a bond with my fellow club and board members.”

Reimer is volunteering constantly in the Amarillo community, and loves working with animals. She plans to become a veterinarian after high school.

“Helping animals is very important to me,” Reimer said. “Right now there is a need in the agricultural community. There is overpopulation, and I feel that becoming a veterinarian can help keeps those numbers low.”

Reimer’s passion to help animals comes from wanting to protect those who don’t have a voice.

“After high school, I want to make it a priority to help save people and animals in this world,” Reimer said.
