Most people have a passion. For junior Desiree Garman, that passion is acting and theater. “(Acting and Theater) is an escape from every day reality,” Garman said. “I can be whoever or whatever I want to be on stage.”

When Desiree was little, she was in a Kids, Incorporated commercial. As a sophomore, she participated in modeling classes and was excited to learn that she would play the lead role of Grace in Randall’s Theater production of “Radium Girls.” However, due to Covid-19, the play was canceled and never performed. This year, Desiree is in Randall’s Productions class and plans to audition for the school musical and the One Act Play.
