Freshman Veronica Yarbrough has always loved art.  

“I would love to have an art career when I’m older,” Veronica said. “I’m going to try my hardest to become a famous artist.”

When it comes to art, Veronica prefers drawing.

“I really love drawing buildings,” Veronica said. “I can draw buildings better than any other thing we have drawn in art class. They’re really simple and good for beginners like me.” 

In addition to buildings, Veronica enjoys drawing landscapes. She said she is hoping to expand her art capabilities and knowledge by going to art school after high school.

“I’ve always dreamed of going to New Mexico when I’m older,” Veronica said. “If I had to choose I would go to the school The University of New Mexico to pursue my art career then I would like to have an online business and do art from home.”
