“I like cheering because it gives me a safe place,” freshman Kambre Felker said.  “I love being able to do what I love with the people I love. I have been cheering since the age of 6. At first, I did not think I would like cheering, but I turned out to love it and now I cannot get enough of it. I went to two different gyms to cheer, Cheer Texas and Amarillo Elite. They were my favorite gyms to go to. I met new people, who I can now trust, and they have made me love cheer.  The coaches were tremendously nice and they were always there for me. My teammates are who made me, me today, and I am so lucky to have them here with me, in my life.”
