Freshman Elliott Day is a member of the Randall tennis team. Day, who has played tennis for about three years, said he has gotten better at the sport over the years and hopes to learn more.

“Tennis has given me new friends and opportunities that I didn’t have before,” Day said.

Since he started playing tennis, Day said he has met amazing people, including some of his closest friends.

“I enjoy tennis because I have been able to create friendships I wouldn’t be able to before,” Day said.

Day said he became involved with tennis because of his dad, who once was a Randall varsity tennis player himself. Day said he appreciates the support he gets from his family and hopes to continue doing tennis and learning new skills, while also making relationships with new people he meets.
