Varsity volleyball team records win over Plainveiw
The varsity volleyball team defeated the Plainview Bulldogs this week while keeping their score below 10 in all three sets. The Raider team is currently 12-8 this season and is ranked No. 14 in the state for Class 5A competition. The Raiders will play their next four games at home. The next game will be next Tuesday at home when the varsity team will face Lubbock Cooper at 7 p.m. Junior Varsity will play at 6 p.m. and the freshman team will compete at 5 p.m. District play will begin Sept. 30 when the Raiders face off against Caprock at Caprock at 7 p.m. The Raiders will look to their four seniors (Kati Culpepper, Creighton Cofer, Destiny Lookingbill and Brenna Davis) for leadership this season.
