Local haunted house Chainsaw Massacre is opening their doors for the thirteenth and fourteenth of February. The event, called Bloody Valentine, is open to both couples and singles. According to employee Tiahna Brecheisen, the event was scheduled as a marketing tool to attract more traffic during the fall season. One of the more unusual activities scheduled for both days is for singles to bring old valentines gifts from past lovers and throw them into a bonfire located on the property.

“It is also a way to get closer to your significant other,” said Brecheisen.
