Fall Favorites

Cozy flannels, apple cider, pumpkin flavored everything, and weather that’s just the right temperature; these are the things I think of when I think about fall. Although the Autumn season doesn’t officially start until September 22, here are some of my seasonal favorites that you’re sure to fall in love with.

One of my favorite things to do in the months of September and October is going to get coffee with my friends. Here are a few of my favorite fall drinks…

Number one: The Bradbury, available at Evocation Coffee at 3300 Coulter St. This delightful mix of cinnamon, spice, and pumpkin is sure to satisfy your fall cravings.

Number two: The Flannel. The name itself should tell you just how tasty this fall inspired drink is. You can find it at any of the 3 Palace Coffee locations.

Number three: Although it isn’t my personal favorite, I had to include the PSL. For those of you who don’t know, this stands for pumpkin spice latte. The pumpkin taste is a bit overwhelming, but it is the original fall coffee. You can find it at the Starbucks on Soncy or Georgia and it’s also available in a frappuccino or  over ice.

Another thing I enjoy is warmer clothes. Boots, flannels, and sweaters are all staples in my fall wardrobe. You can find cute and affordable fall clothes at Target, Forever 21, or TjMaxx. My favorite thing to wear in the fall would definitely be any kind of boot. You can find some great boots at Payless and Target.

The last thing I love about fall is the fun events that only come around once a year such as the corn maze and the fair. The fair opens Friday the 16th and Maxwell’s Pumpkin Farm opens Saturday the 24th. Both of those cost a little extra, but it is completely worth it.

Between coffee drinking, shopping, and picking out the perfect pumpkin, hopefully there is something on this list that you’d like to add to your fall bucket list.
