Greenways Intermediate will be a little more spacious this year with the addition of Pinnacle Intermediate School, located just north of Sundown Elementary School. 

The ribbon cutting ceremony for the grand opening of Pinnacle Intermediate was held this past Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. CISD faculty and parents of current and future students attended as Pinnacle Principal Kim Lackey cut the average sized ribbon with the not so average sized scissors. Cheerleaders from Randall and Westover were there in support as well as the band as they kicked off the ceremony with the Star Spangled Banner and ended with the famous cadence “Old Set” played by drumline. After the ribbon cutting, Pinnacle students gave attendees a brief tour of the school.
