Fundraiser Provides Opportunity For Extended Lunch

Students who pay $3 to their 4th/5th period teacher April 14 will receive an extended lunch.

Money collected will be donated to the Education Foundation, a charity that works to increase student achievement and academic success by providing supplies, grants and support to the local school system.

Juniors and seniors can enjoy an extended lunch by simply paying the $3 fee to their teacher. Sophomores and freshmen can as well; however, if they would like to leave campus for extended lunch, they must also turn in a  signed parent permission form to their 4th/5th period teacher. Sophomores and freshmen with a signed form will not be allowed to leave campus with friends. They will only be allowed to leave with a guardian or sibling. Students needing a copy of the form, can pick it up from their 4th/5th period teacher.

Students who choose to participate in extended lunch will have from 11:55 a.m.- 1:25 p.m. for lunch. Those who choose not to participate will be escorted to the Auditorium where they will be supervised until regular lunch starts 40 minutes later at 12:35 p.m.
