Donation Opportunities for Fritch Fire Victims
The wildfire that has burned near Fritch and Lake Meredith since Sunday has been contained, but the aftermath is nothing to celebrate. The fire burned down over 150 structures, several of them being homes. The people who lost their homes lost everything. They lost clothes, silverware, pictures, anything imaginable.
There are several organizations taking donations for the fire victims, including The Amarillo Council of the Blind. Representatives from Fritch say the best way to donate, is to make a monetary donation through the Red Cross, or any of the non-profit organizations in Fritch. The representatives say money will be the best form of donation, so they can provide victims with what they really need.
In addition, Randall will be hosting a fundraiser for the fire victims tomorrow. Any amount of money will be accepted to help the victims of this disaster.
