Life of a veggie

When I first decided to go Vegetarian the most common question I got asked was “What do you eat?” Well that’s a difficult question because I eat lots of different things just like everybody else. Usually for breakfast I will eat either a bowl of fruit or cereal, along with my usual cup of coffee. Once lunch time hits it’s a little bit more difficult to find a good meal. I try to stay away from fast food places because they rarely have many vegetarian options, but salad is always a good choice along with pasta, a baked potato, or rice. Eating at home is great because I have more options and more things that I like. For dinner I make my own meals, usually I’ll have mashed potatoes with peas or green beans. I also eat a lot pasta, macaroni and cheese is one of my favorites. Of course I still eat a lot of candy bars and junk food, but I try and keep the balance by eating lots of fruits and vegetables. Since I have become a vegetarian I have felt a drastic change in my attitude towards things, I am a much happier person than I was before. It wasn’t easy at first, but now its second nature to resist eating animals. With this lifestyle I hope to inspire others to limit the casualties. Animals are our friends.
