Studebaker Stands Out

The turquoise vintage truck stands out in the school parking lot, catching people’s attention and drawing their eye. Many are surprised when they see a blond girl in a cheerleading uniform step out.

As a person with a weakness for older trucks, senior, Ashlyn Dennis’s 1958 Studebaker is a dream. The unique truck her dad built was a sixteenth birthday present. When she first got the truck it had a few dents and dings and rust. It needed a bit of work but thanks to her dad it was ready to drive by Ashlyn’s seventeenth birthday.

The truck is built on a Dodge Dakota frame and has the motor from a Chrysler 360 under the hood. The custom paint job just adds on to how impressive it is as well as making it one of the most individual and unique cars in the Randall parking lot.
