This past weekend, the boys junior varsity and varsity cross country teams competed in the Tascosa Cross Country Meet. Both teams placed second in their brackets.

On the JV team, Peyton Embry placed first, Collin Arnold placed second, Zach Janzen placed 7th and Montana Peirce placed 14th. On the varsity team, Sam Wilson placed fifth, Braden Pohlmeier placed 7th, Aidan Wright placed 25th and Jarred Romero placed 33rd.

The next boys cross country meet will be the Oklahoma State University meet on Sept. 24 in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
