EOC Testing
STAAR testing for high school attendees will resume on Tuesday, May 2 through Thursday, May 4. Students who are taking, or retaking the Algebra 1, Biology, and U.S. History exams are expected to be in their assigned rooms in their alphabetically placed seats in the Randall East building by 8:15 a.m on their designated testing days.
Assigned rooms will be posted around both building a few days before the testing. Those testing are not allowed any cell phones, food, or drinks during the testing period of four hours, and will be released to go to lunch when the time is up which is typically around 12:00 p.m., and will need to resume class after lunch like on normal bell schedule day unless instructed to do differently.
Students in grades 9-12 who are not testing will not been expected to be at school during the exam time, and will not be needed at school until sixth period at 1:00 p.m, unless they ride the bus. Students who ride the bus will be chaperoned in the West Commons while testing is in place. AP exams and ACT testing will also be taking place at Randall next week.
