Semester Testing to Take Place Before Break
While Christmas time is the season of joy, family, and festivities, it is also the season of the dreaded semester exams. Luckily for some students, there are exemptions based on attendance and grades. To be exempt from semester testing, students must be passing all of their courses and have perfect attendance or have at least an average of 80 or above in all of their courses and no more than three absences. Students who are not exempt will be expected to take semester exams or complete a project assigned by their teacher. Semester testing will take place Dec. 19- Dec. 21, and students should note that the testing schedule is different from last year. The tests will take place at the following times:
Tues. Dec. 19:
8th period exam- 12:55-2:35 pm
Wed. Dec. 2o:
1st period exam- 8:15-9:55 am
2nd period exam- 10:05-11:45 am
3rd period exam- 12:45-2:25 pm
Thurs. Dec. 21:
4th/5th period exam- 8:15-9:55 am
6th period exam- 10:05-11:45 am
7th period exam- 12:45-2:25 pm
*Retests will be administered at the end of each semester testing day from 2:45-3:45 pm.
