Bright colored signs with the similar red, white, and blue color themes line street corners and neighborhoods with a range of candidates running from judge, clerk, or even state representative. The primary occurred March 6 at various locations. This year, 15 students from AP U.S. Government teacher Aaron Faver’s class were chosen to work the primary as a chance to experience political involvement. These students were required to arrive to their designated location at 6 a.m. on the day of the election and work until 7 p.m. each earning a pay of $10 an hour.
