Anyone walking into Pandorum expecting the traditional lost in space horror movie is in for a surprise. The directors of this film throw in unique ideas and characters that leave the viewer sitting on the edge of their seat (pretty good for a bunch of engineers and scientitsts). People who enjoyed Alien3 and Resident Evil are sure to be fans of this film. At the beginning of Pandorum, the hero, Corporal Bower (Ben Foster) wakes up from a hypersleep with no memory. Only moments later, Leutenient Payton (Dennis Quaid) wakes up with similar symptoms. As the story plot thickens, Bower and Payton learn the cause of their peculiar situation. With monsters around every corner, Bower fights to prevail evil. The film tom rolls for 108 minutes and is rated R. The film critics gave Pandorum 8 out of 10 stars, and frankly I agree. This is a movie worthy to be ranked against the greatest of sci-fi films.
