The fifth annual Christmas Tea is Dec. 12 from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in 503 West.

Mrs. Hooten and her students, the event planners, have been preparing for this event since the beginning of school. The theme of the event has not been released. Many teachers have helped in the past and this year they are asking for bacon and cream cheese.

¨There are lots of reasons for Christmas Tea but one of the main reasons is to learn to serve others before ourselves,¨ Hooten said. ¨Another reason is to thank the teachers for all they do, teaching or working in a school is sometimes a thankless job.¨
