The UIL academic team competed at the Region meet April 13- 14 and won third place overall. The top three in each event advance to State. The students who placed are as follows:

The Journalism team took second place overall. Both the Computer Science team and Speech team took third overall.

The One-Act play company competed at Region April 16 and won first place. They will compete at State on April 24. Four cast members also receive individual acting awards.
