President Obama takes inappropriate ‘selfie’ at Mandela memorial service
There is much controversy over how President Barack Obama is running the United States. Regardless of how he runs the country, the “selfie” he took during Nelson Mandela’s recent memorial service takes the controversy to a whole new level.
During the Dec. 15 service, President Obama took a selfie with British Prime Minister David Cameron, and Denmark Prime Minister Helle Thorning Schmidt. Honestly, this is unacceptable. Not only for Obama, but for the Prime Ministers as well. The leader of a country should be a good representation of their people, not a comedy routine for the world to make fun of.
President Obama should be ashamed of himself, and so should the Prime Ministers. It almost seems that they did not even think twice about the consequences of this selfie, so it is hard to comprehend that they are trying to run a country without thinking of consequences.
