With an end score of 33-58, the Raider basketball team lost to the Amarillo High Sandies on Tuesday, December 1.
Tanner Lakey scored 7 points overall for the Raiders and Justin Douglass scored 6. Additionally, Bret Scheve earned 2 points from the free throw line. At halftime, the Raiders were trailing behind by 14 points, 13-27. However, the Raiders were no match for Sandies James Castleman and Preston Ogburn, who each earned 12 points for Amarillo High. The fourth quarter ended in high fouls on both sides, 8-10.
Next up, the Raiders will play in the Tournament of Champions at WT on December 4th and 5th.
