Coming off two big wins over Borger and Lubbock High respectively, the Raiders will face off with the Pampa Harvesters Friday night at 7:30 in Pampa as they attempt to capture their 11th regular season win in 13 tries.
The Raiders will likely look to junior quarterback Collin Bowen to yet again spark the team’s offense both through the air and on the ground. Through two games, Bowen has racked up 225 rushing yards and 314 passing yards, tallying a total of six total touchdowns. Linebacker JD Allen will also be a catalyst to the Raiders’ success, as he will look to add on to the large amount of tackles that made him the district’s defensive MVP a year ago.
The Harvesters, who are 1-1 heading into this matchup, will look to their offense attack led by quarterback Reid Miller and receiver Latigo Collins to boost their team. The Harvesters lost their opener to Lubbock Estacado 28-3, but were able to rebound the next week with a 28-0 pounding of Iowa Park.
The Raiders are currently ranked the no. 1 large school team in the area by the Amarillo Globe – News and are favored by the Texas Football Harris Rating to win this game by 21 points.
